So hungry (and nauseous) but nothing sounds good!

Anyone in this boat? I am so hungry, which I know makes the nausea worse, but everything sounds vomitous right now. Ugggh.

Re: So hungry (and nauseous) but nothing sounds good!

  • yeah tonight i was just like f it i will order pizza...normally i do my best to eat pretty healthy but the last 2-3 days i'm more on the eat whatever i feel like i can deal with.  fortunately my nausea hasn't been too bad but i think it might also be because i am seriously avoiding anything that sounds sickening when i think of it...at least i'm taking whole food supplements so the baby is getting *some* decent food today...haha.

  • I do feel nausea throughout the day and most of the time thinking of food makes me sick but if I eat I feel better.  I know this is easier said then done.

  • ugh, this is me, like crazy!!! DH is out getting me taco bell right now b/c it was the only thing that sounded good to me (gross, I know :) lol!).  This is exactly how I was with LO #1 too.  Everything sounded disgusting to me and I wanted to eat healthy so bad, but it was like forcing myself to eat ANYTHING.  I'm definitely more nauseated this time around too... hopefully these symptoms will pass quickly for all of us :)

  • I agree...I am usually a really healthy eater, and for the past few weeks I have basically eaten bagels and apples.

    Blech.

Tirby, I ended up eating pasta tonight. With some sauteed veggies. We might be looking up a little.

  • OMG, me too! I had my DH pick up taco bell tonight too (which I NEVER eat and haven't had in 3 years). I can't eat ANYTHING - it's driving me crazy. All I can eat is toast and it doesn't satisfy my hunger.

even taco bell made me sick right after. =(

when will this go away? It is so annoying!

  • ....oh and, I don't know about you, but even talking about food makes me want to vomit. I can't stand vegetables if I wanted to. And I do want to eat healthy, I was a very healthy veggie eater (almost extreme) before this. I tried sneaking veggies in with some thai curry...didn't work. =(

  • I feel the same way, especially in the mornings. I feel hungry and queasy all at the same time. I know I should eat something but nothing sounds good. I have actually found that fruits and vegetables help. They don't sound good, but if I force myself to eat some then I feel better and can usually stomach eating something else.
