When you get sick...?

So 2 weeks ago I got really sick for like a week. I mean, everything from a sore head, sinus problems, major cough, 102.8 fever, body aches, throwing up, ear infections, throat infection.

My DH took one day off (the day after I went to the doc). That day I thought I would rest/sleep all day. I am BF my ds. I really thought that DH would take care of both children while I rest and only wake me when ds needed to eat. But that didn't happen. He said he couldn't take care of both children.........WHAT??? I take care of them all day everyday while he is at work. I do that and take care of the house.

Needless to say I didn't rest and today I still feel crappy.....

What happens in your house when you get sick....really really sick?

    I'm not a SAHM, so if I'm sick (which is hardly ever) DD goes to daycare.  Then DH takes care of her the rest of the day (when he's done working).

    I am out kinda sick today, but Tuesday is C's daycare day. He just got back. We will both take care of him since I feel better but otherwise DH would get him most of the day and I could stay in bed with the door closed. He is the SAHD. If he was really sick, like you are, I would stay home and have C all day, but H usually plays wow on sick days.

    I'm a SAHM so if I'm sick during the week I suffer through it and do the best that I can.  When DH get's home from work he will watch both kids so I can relax/rest for a bit.  If I'm sick on the weekends DH will watch both kids.  He also watches them in the evening for an hour or so a few times a week so I can go to the gym or if I need to take a break and get some coffee or something.

    Dude, you are sick and your husband said he couldn't take care of two kids? I give him the biggest side eye possible, it's so big my eyes just popped out of the sockets and are rolling over to your husband's workplace to give him a side eye.
