AW: I have a new squish! PIP

Dahlia River was born April 7th at 37 weeks and 5 days weighing 8lbs 6oz. Our out of hospital VBAC was a success. Labor and delivery was 25 hoiurs start to finish and I pushed for 5.5 hours (told you this was an AW post). Mini name story can be found on the April 2012 BMB. Birth story to come in a few days. Big sister loves her little sister but is giving mama a bit of a cold shoulder.

Excuse the choppy sentences and typos...been a long time since I've typed with one hand or been this tired.

congrats! that is awesome you had an out of hospital VBAC You go girl! I'm glad it worked out for you! (i read some of your posts on the Natural Birth board.)

And congrats on the pushing - I pushed for 3 hours and it was exhausting! make sure you rest up when you can and don't over do it.

DD wanted nothing to do with me the first few days we were home from the hospital, the 3rd day she rejected me at nap time I cried for half the afternoon (yay hormones!) but it was the very next day she was suddenly psyched about my existence again.
