Too tired to celebrate my wedding anniversary :-(

Today is our 7 year wedding anniversary. I woke up super excited about celebrating it, then mid day fatigue washed over me like a freakin tsunami. Came home and slept for about 5 hours.

Does anyone have any rec's to combat this overwhelming feeling of fatigue?

Re: Too tired to celebrate my wedding anniversary :-(

  • Happy Anniversary!  I've been exhausted too, if only I could nap during the day!  I read in one of my baby books that foods high in iron can help battle fatigue, but I don't think that would help me at this point.  I'm just going with the flow and enjoying the extra sleep.  Wink

Can you guys celebrate again on another day with more energy (maybe over the weekend)?

Thanks! I'll check out what foods have Iron. We have rescheduled our anniversary till the weekend but I feel like such a bad wife. Luckily hubby understands its all due to pregnancy.

  • That stinks! I'm not sure there is anything that can be done for the exhaustion. Even when I take a nap (on the rare occasion!) I wake up more tired! I think we just have to wait it out. Once we start to get into the 2nd trimester, you typically get an energy burst.

Thank you! Hope you have enough energy to enjoy your anniversary. Where in Florida are you traveling to? I live in Miami. I can give some pointers for either the Miami area or Orlando. Have fun!

Orlando for the first four then palm coast for three days. I'd love some suggestions if you're familiar with the areas considering my 7 day frozen drink beach bumming is out of the question now!
