Hey Ladies - Is anyone familiar with Botsford hospital in Farmington Hills???

    I've been to their emergency room only. It sucked. It was filthy and the staff were not the most polite. And they misdiagnosed my husband.

    Thanks for the warning!!! I just scheduled a doctor's appt. with a doctor who works out of that hospital.

    I'm not sure if you are pregnant and are looking for a hospital to deliver out of but I HIGHLY recommend Southfield Providence. I delivered my daughter there earlier this year and had a wonderful experience. This time around I am delivering at Providence Park in Novi because that is where my OB practice now delivers. I'm hoping it will be just as great as Southfield.

    This time around I am delivering at Providence Park in Novi because that is where my OB practice now delivers. I'm hoping it will be just as great as Southfield.

    I just delivered at Novi in October, it is AMAZING!!! My sister had my niece at Southfield 20 months ago and was in awe when she saw the rooms in Novi. The nurses were great and the security on the floor is very tight.

    I have heard great things about Dr. Joslin-Paige.  I have a friend who's baby was delivered by her too.  I've actually never met her but, like I said, have heard great things.  I saw her partner, Dr. Wickham, for a short period of time but was very unhappy with her.  After leaving Botsford, I switched doctors and now see someone in the Providence system.  I am very happy with the move.  I didn't like that Botsford doesn't have a NICU or special care nursery.  Good luck with your decision!

    I delivered both of my girls there and won't go anywhere else. My L & D nurses, my anesthesiologists, residents, and post partum nurses were all amazing. I did not have a bad experience with anyone in that hospital. Their birthing center is small, the private rooms with the private showers are tiny but their private rooms without the private showers are much larger. However, the nurses there that took care of me after I delivered my first daughter were unbelievable. They were so motherly and sweet I went back afterwards and delivered gifts to the nurses who helped me. Their lactation consultant was HILARIOUS and drove me nuts, I could have definitely done without her.

    My ob/gyn is Dr. Jerry Markowitz. He has an office on 5 mile and Inkster in Redford and when I saw it for the first time I almost turned around and drove back home. But after meeting with him, I have requested that he see me for coughs and colds as well as pap smears lol. He is a great doctor, all about the patient. I love him.

    i just delivered in december at botsford and dr joslin-paige was one of my drs...i went to essential OBGYN in farmington. There are several doctors there, and you will see them all if you are pregnant, they rotate your appts.

    My baby was delivered by dr wickham and i loved her! She was our favorite, and dr page was our second fave...i highly reccomend their office.

    I loved botsford too. my nurses were sooooo great during delivery!

    I have to ditto all of this! I also saw Dr Markowitz, and was extremely happy with him. Whenever we may have DC #2, I will without a doubt go to him again.
