XP: City Select? Yes

Hi There!

We are looking into potentially getting a double stroller for when the next LO is born. DS will be 27 months. So old enough to walk, but we ALWAYS use his stroller because it keeps him contained without throwing a fit, ect.

I tested out the city select and really liked it. The only problem I forsee, is that DS is in the 95% for height...and the seats don't look very long. Do any of you have older children that fit in the Select? I did try out the Britax B-Ready, but I'm very petite (4'11 ) and kept felt like the lower seat was in my way. If I was a bit taller, I'm sure it would feel different. I also wanted to test out the Phil and Ted's since I hear the seat on it is much bigger...but am nervous that it's going to have the same feel as the britax did.

I guess I would really love it if someone had a tall child that uses the City Select who could rec it.

Thanks so much for any help!

  • My DD is off the growth chart in height.  So far, we're fine with her sitting in the back and my DS sitting in the front.  We are also fine with them facing each other. My plan is to get the foot board for when she's too tall....

  • DS is 3y3m, about 3 ft a few inches tal and fits fine. I have the glider board and love it though.

  • We also got the glider board but I watched a YouTube review from baby gadget and she put her 5 year old, 2 year old, and then baby in different combinations for the seats and it worked!

  • Dd is tall and we have no problems with it. The footrest adjusts out in length and then adjusts at different angles. The canopy can also adjust up a bit.

I love my CS. Best 2u2 purchase.

  • I tested my 98% 2 year old in it at the store and she fit, but she wouldn't comfortably for long. I opted for a stroller that would last her longer.
