I seriously dropped the ball.
Did anyone ever read/discuss Game of Thrones?
Anyone up for more reading/discussing together or have those of you who are serious all migrated over to the Nest Book Club board for good book discussions?
Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
Re: Hey book clubbers...
I haven't participated before, but now that we're out of the newborn stage, I have a little time to read at night and would love to join in!
Although if everyone has moved over to TN, I guess I can go too....
Ummm.... the GOT discussion was supposed to be LAST month. I suck. I dropped the ball.
I think several ladies read it but I don't think the formal discussion ever took place.
I only got half way thru it and I'm kinda done. I'm having a hard time remembering my own name these days and GOT just has too much for me to keep it all straight in my current mental condition.
Hoping some of the GOT readers will chime in and maybe we can reschedule the discussion date for it?
Do we also want to vote on some other books for upcoming months?
Bueller?

Oh whoops! haha. Read too fast...and have not kept up with the scheduled reading obviously! After I said I'd love to read it I read the description and I'm not super eager anymore. So maybe whatever ends up being next on the agenda.
I had trouble with GOT too.
How about we start fresh and pick books for May, June, and July?
Game of Thrones was ok but Clash of Kings was better, in my opinion.
I have been reading like an addict recently so I'm up for anything. I think Diane Chamberlain books would be good for discussion. They are similar to Jodi Picoult with difficult situations/choices.

I read GOT (and then Clash of Kings and am about to finish up Storm of Swords
). I have a lot to say about the series, but much of it is actually critical, so no pressure for anyone else to read it if it's not your style! I have read plenty of books in this vein before so it's not a stretch for me...
So, I'm up for a future discussion of GOT or starting fresh with something else. No guarantees that I will read whatever is chosen, though. Sorry! (I just couldn't do Bossypants...)
