CPR and first aid class, anyone?

Hi ladies

Did you and Dh take infant/child CPR? If so, where did you look into taking a course?

( hospital, pregnancy center, etc?)

If I didn't have my certification I would have for sure.

My niece was 7 months old- we were at a family party and she began to choke. I talked her father through what to do and moments later she was ok. Terrifying situation and im glad I had the training to rely on

We took the class and it was very beneficial. It was offered through the hospital we are delivery at through their maternity class programs.

I highly recommend it. I have had several mom friends that have needed to do the Heimlich on their kids due to choking. One of my school professors said she had to do infant CPR on her child. I do it annually for work anyways, but if I didn't I would definitely take it. Just wish I could convince my husband and in-laws to take it too.

DH & I took the class through the hospital we are using. I would say it is def worth it.

I have one scheduled through out hospital. I am taking it with my mom, (DH cannot get off work at the scheduled times) but my mom will be caring for the baby so we should be covered on both sides.
