They are making me go to l&D for headache?!

I'm 40 wk 3 days and I don't want to go to the hospital for a headache! I just called dr office to make sure I could take Tylenol! I am pretty positive it's just a sinus headache! Ug! Anyone else had this or similar experience?

have you had any issues at all with BP?

It does sound suspect....it sounds like they want you to go in (since you are 3 days overdue) so they can find a reason to induce.

they are probably just concerned about Pre-e or something, can you take your BP? Personally I don't think they can MAKE you go.

Headaches can be a sign of something more serious like dehydration or Pre-E. just go and get checked out. It's for the best.

This. Even though it's probably just a headache, you're carrying precious cargo and no one wants to take any chances. Yes, going to L&D is a pain, but since you're overdue, why risk it?

Since you are over due now they are going to red flag anything and send you to L&D for a NST...even a headache ( which can be a sign of a BP issue/ preeclampsia.

Agreed, probably just want to check your BP. But with a little one at home - what a pain! Bring your bags just in case. If you are contracting at all they might push for an induction since you are overdue already:)
