Baby wearing (rambling...)

If you baby-wear, how has that been affected by returning to work?  DD and I have settled into a lovely schedule that involves me wearing her for a few hours each afternoon, but now that I am returning to work I know we won't have time to do that anymore.  I usually do chores and walk the dog while I wear her and explain what I am doing or where we are going, but I am wondering if maybe it's more beneficial for her to have playtime on the floor once we get home...then again, she's getting that at daycare and will maybe really want her snuggles and conversation.  <sigh> I guess I'm just really going to miss the snuggly baby-wearing time we have right now.  Rambling done...

    I haven't gone back to work yet but I've heard from many of my friends that LO craved extra cuddles when they went back. I would think a few hours of baby-wearing time in the evenings would be perfect for both of you! :)

    Take the cues from your LO. Mine will sometimes cry when I put her on the playmat and stop crying as soon as I throw her in my sling. Other times it's the other way around. They'll let you know what they want and need and I can guarantee it'll change from day to day :)

    My opinion, she gets playtime at daycare, but she doesn't get mommy! My daughter will actually fuss and tell me when she wants to be put down and play with her toys! I guess I did that to my mom too.

    I've been thinking of getting a sling for the evenings after work.  I have so much to do when I get home, and it would be a great way to have them with me (assuming I can manage two of them) while I am doing what needs to be done.  I'm just not sure how to go about managing two at the same time..or should I manage one at a time.
