Who is 13+ weeks and still vomiting?

Let's commiserate.

I will say things are getting a lot better - I am down to a few times a week. But why it can't go away completely, I don't understand.

Today was my funniest day yet. I left work early to go to a doctor's appointment. I feel a little queasy on the elevator down, but I figured I'd be fine. I start walking to my car (I work in a metro so about two blocks) and all of a sudden get a "you are going to puke soon" vibe. So I start looking for somewhere acceptable to puke. I finally locate a dumpster type thing but then get the "you will puke RIGHT NOW" and puked on the street in front of a bank. Like a homeless person. I think a cop saw me but no one said anything.

Hopefully it rains tonight.

  • Aw, I'm sorry :(  it's the worst when you can't do it in private.

I haven't had ms with this pg, but I did with my first 3. It stopped at 15 weeks, 18 weeks and with my 3rd the day he was born. I hope it ends for you soon! It's worth when your baby is in your arms.

Thanks. Honestly it's not that bad. When I was 7 weeks I had a scare with spotting and all I have to do is think back to those few days and I'm very grateful. At this point it's more just comical to me. And I luckily don't have many symptoms beyond nausea/vomiting/aversions, lol.

  • Me.

Best was Saturday, when we went to the movies to try and fight jet lag.

I got this sudden urge to vomit before the movie, went and just puked up my entire (not so significant lunch) and then got twin nosebleeds while vomiting.

I have found pregnancy puking is rather explosive. Runny / pukey nose, eyes tear up, etc. No fun!

  • I typed this on facebook, too but I too ended up throwing up in an odd place today.  I tried throwing up in a cup in my car but still managed to get junk all over my steering wheel, windshield, dashboard and clothes.  It was a mess.  I thought 2nd tri was going to be the honeymoon time.

  • i haven't vomited but i was super duper nauseous for weeks 6-9 and then my acupuncturist needled some points on my inner wrists (along with a bunch of other happy pregnancy points) and i haven't been nauseous at all since. acupuncture is amaaaazing.
  • With my DS I vomited every morning from 12 to 24wks. I would throw up breakfast and then eat an other one and be fine. Today was my first day that I threw up so we'll see if it continues the same way this time. I'm nauseous in 1st tri then puke in 2nd... I'm weird, but like all of you am totally fine with it for a healthy baby!!

  • Me!  I am still throwing up sometimes and I was 14 weeks yesterday.  I got sick 3 nights last week alone.  And I am on zofran 3 times a day.  Plus, I am having heartburn too.  I am way better than I was, but I am just tired of feeling sick.  I so, so want to start feeling better!!

  • I'm also in the club.  I have cut back to 2 or 3 times a week but I am really tired of throwing up.  I keep hearing it will get better...

  • Throwing up is probably the worst thing ever to me to do, so there have been about a million times where if I would have put my head over a toilet, I would have lost it. I manage to control the puking by a breathing technique I do. (I know, sounds ridiculous, but it helps a lot).

Weeks 10-12 were the absolute worst, but I still feel nauseus from 4pm until I sleep. It sucks. I am 13w5d today.

  • Zofran has been a life saver. I havent puked once since I started it at week 11. It is a miracle drug! I wish I started it sooner!
