Uggggh, she's baccccck! lol!

I thought I had at least 6 weeks but my period decided to show up a week early at 5 weeks postpartum. Anyone else get theirs earlier than expected? I am guessing that this is normal?

oh please no... on top of everything else we are dealing with that is just too much. I hope mine waits about 6 months lol

Are you sure it's not just residual bleeding from delivery? I've heard that sometimes it can stop for some time and then return up to 8 weeks pp.

I know it varies from person to person regardless of formula feeding or breastfeeding/pumping.

My dr made sure to stress though that you ovulate first and then get your period - so you need some sort of protection unless you want the next baby to come sooner

Honestly, I don't know for sure... My bleeding stopped about 2 weeks ago and since it looks to be the beginning of my period (light pinkish/reddish bleeding) and I have cramps, I just have a feeling that this is my period... Ugh. lol

I'm assuming I got it but didn't really bleed all that much (I'm not really sure how there is anything left in there after all the post partum bleeding!) because I had THE WORST cramps on Saturday. They actually had me throwing up at my aunt's house. I thought DH was going to have to take me to the ER because I've never had cramps that bad. I was 5w last Friday so right there with you!

I'm pretty sure that's what mine is...I'm 4 1/2 weeks pp. I had completely stopped, now it is bright red and heavy. I also had cramps the first few days. I'm not really a fan of getting it so early...I thought that with breast feeding I'd get at least a few months. :-/

Yup I got mine too , only 4 weeks boooo!! I know it's my period...cramps....regular flow!! I thought I had longer too lol

I still have not gotten a period. Baby is nine weeks. Although unless I am on the pill I am not regular. I kind of want to get it to make sure I am not in the running for Irish twins!

I have been bleeding like my period for about 4 days which is a little longer than my normal period, and I am only 5 weeks pp. If this is still pp then I am ok, because I am kind of freaked out about the Irish twin thing. I would hate to join the January 2013 board!
