What is it like having two under two (I know your oldest is over two but you know what I mean )?
What is the sex life like having two children under two?
Do you have any secrets from your H? If so can you tell us the secret?
Life with 2u2 is pretty hectic - but hey, life with any number of kids is pretty hectic I'm really starting to enjoy it more now that DD2 is getting older, though. DD1 loves to love on her little sister and she gets SO excited when she makes her laugh. Makes the lack of sleep well worth it.
As for sex, well, I think the problem here isn't 2u2 but my lack of a sex drive. Poor hubs. *If* I was into it, I think we could easily find time to do the deed 3 - 4 times a week...
I keep very few secrets from DH - We've been together 12 years now, so any secrets I may have I'm either taking to the grave with me or they have to do with his birthday present
ETA: I just thought of the one biggest challenge I'm facing with 2u2: leaving the house. I mean, handling the 2 kids while we're out isn't all that hard, the hard part is actually getting out the door. Let me explain:
DD1 gets up at about 6:30 DD2 gets up at about 7 DD2 eats around 8. Takes her about an hour (she nurses then has puree) DD2 goes down for a nap between 9 and 10. This is my chance to leave the house (she'll just nap in her carseat) DD2 is up from her nap at around 10 - 11 DD1 has lunch at 11:30 DD2 eats again at 12:00 (again, this takes an hour) DD1 naps from 1:00 to 3:00 (roughly). If I'm lucky, I can work out the girls' naps so they are asleep at the same time DD2 eats again at 4:00 (one hour again) We have dinner at 5:30
As you can see, it's pretty hard to find a time where both girls are awake and fed. Hence why I find it so hard to get out the door. Luckily, DD1 goes to daycare most days, making running errands and whatnot that much easier
If you were given $500 to spend on you, what would you buy/do?
I'd get me some new clothes. I've spent a grand total of $50 on myself over the past 6 months, and it was for a nursing bra. My "wardrobe" consists of black or dark grey pants and nursing tops. It is pretty sad. So yeah. $500 would definitely on building me a "non-mom" look.
Coke or Pepsi? (And don't tell me neither. I know you've had both, and therefore you must have a preference)
Do you have any pets?
Tell us about your favorite date with DH.
How is DD2's tongue?
Gotta laugh at this one - DH used to work for Coke. That didn't end well, so you would expect me to say pepsi, but I still like Coke best
We have 2 cats - They are siblings from the same litter. They were actually born at my parents' house the summer I moved out, so I've literally had them their entire life. They are 12 now and don't do much except shed all over the place, but they are my furbabies and I love them
I think my favourite date with DH was actually a double date with my brother and his wife (then his girlfriend). We had the most decadent meal ever at the local Fairmont and it was Uh. Mazing. 7-course meal with wine pairing, staff to pull our chair for us when we left the table... My brother had a 50% discount and it still cost us a small fortune, but it was well worth it.
Her tongue is healing very nicely, thanks for asking. There's a little bump where the wort (eeek) used to be but you hardly see it
If you could have any cosmetic surgery done for free of cost what would it be?
What is your alcoholic drink of choice?
If you could take a vacation for a week anywhere in the world where would you go?
Do you have any weird quirks about yourself?
If you could have your favorite meal served to you (and made to perfection) what would it be?(appetizers and deserts can accompany your meal)
I'd get a boob job. I think I've mentioned before just how uneven the girls are (I'm currently sporting a B cup on one side and a D cup on the other) . So yeah, I'd definitely get things evened out.
I have a few. I am partial to lychee martini, any kind of iced coffee drink, apple cider... But if I could have any drink in my hand right this second, I'd go for a nice glass of Bordeaux
If I *only* had a week, I,d probably do an all-inclusive beach vacation. If I had longer, however, I'd definitely do the greek/roman mythology tour. I want to see the coliseum, Troy, Delphi, etc.
Weird quirks... Hmmm... lemme think... When we're driving, I always make up words with other cars' plates. Is that weird?
I can't think of specific dishes, but here are some things one might find in said meal: mango, lychee, some nice piece of fished topped with some sort of crumbles (maybe with pine nuts), fresh veggies, goat cheese, beef carpaccio, maple something (oh yes, I do live up to the Canadian stereotype!), lobster, filet mignon, dark chocolate, ginger, coconut... (and now I'm totally drooling)
If you could be selfish about one thing, what would it be?
Hmmm... time, I think. As in, I'd take time for myself instead of making time for everyone else. Don't get me wrong, I love my role as a mother and wife, but that leaves very little room for my role as just ME. So if I could, I'd definitely keep some more time to myself.
If you could have a date with anyone dead or living who would it be and what would you do?
If you were a stripper what would your stage name be?
Wildest place you have ever had sex?
1. Right now, I'm going to say my husband. DD2 won't take a bottle, and I plan on BFing until maybe 15-16 months, so in other words, no date night for us for another 7 months or so. I'd love for us to get a suite in a swanky hotel, order room service and take full advantage of the jacuzzi that would be in our suite. We'd sleep in until oh, I don't know, 8 (lol) and that, my friends, would be glorious!
2. I think "Madame Ha" would work pretty good, don't you? lol
What is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?
Do you have a 'freebie' (your if it ever came about you would be able to have sex, free pass) and who is it?
What is one thing you can never say no to?
In college, I had classes at both ends of the campus. We only had 10 minutes between classes, so I had to rush from one classroom to another to make sure I was on time. Well one time my heel caught in a chair and I ended up falling flat on a desk, with my skirt up to my waist, giving the lecturer a direct view of my underwear. I turned 8 shade sof red and bolted out of there.
No freebie. Sorry. But if I did have one, it'd probably be David Boreanaz
What book did you read last, and what did you think? What book are you reading now/next?
I just read The Help and I LOVED it. I actually stayed up til 2 one night because I HAD to find out what was going to happen.
Next on my list is Book 12 (or is it 13?) of the Wheel of Time - Towers of Midnight. DH got me hooked on this series years ago and now I'm as eager as he is (perhaps more) to find out how it ends.
Ummm... I studied abroad and while I was away I started dating this (much) older guy. I would lie to the family I was staying with and tell them I was going out with friends when in fact I would go out with him.

Well, I've started chewing my nails again. I'd say that's a pretty bad habit.
