Sex drive after m/c

I found out that I miscarried on March 19th, had a natural m/c on the 20th, and they did a D&C the next day just to make sure everything cleared and okay.  It has been a really difficult road so far...a lot of ups and downs.  I am happy that I am able to somewhat go on with my normal day to day activities, but the baby is always on my mind and I sometimes have an emotional meltdown.  I guess this is all normal.

Something that I did not expect is that I feel like my sex drive is really high.  Although I am missing the baby, and often find myself really sad about it...I still find myself really, really wanting to have a lot of sex.  I guess I thought that this would be the last thing on my mind for a while.  We have finally been given the go-ahead by the doc at the follow-up appt. and were told to wait two cycles before we try again.

Have any of you experienced this intense sex drive after m/c?  I am sure it is just all the wacky hormones...but it was totally not how I expected my body to react.

    I just miscarried this weekend and have already had a high desire to have sex. My follow-up appointment isn't until next Monday. Hoping I get the okay to go ahead to start TTC again soon because hubby and I are already antsy.

    Yes, mine was through the roof post-loss.

    We don't have a lot of sex during pg, esp early pg because I get super sick and have no desire.  I am betting that was a factor b/c it had been a while since we DTD.  Also, I am the type of person that can seperate sex & babymaking so it wasn't an emotional experience for me to have sex post-loss at all.

    DD1 born 5/24/10.

    Missed M/C at 14 wks Feb 2012.

    DD2 born 5/14/13.

    Missed M/C at 9 wks July 2015.

    Expecting someone new 4/17/17.

    I've been meaning to look up with it is ok...I just m/c Saturday and today my sex drive has been nuts. So weird...I almost feel guilt, like I'm moving on, when I am most certainly not moved on yet.

    After my D&C, the doc told me "two weeks, nothing in the vagina".  I waited the two weeks plus a few days until my follow-up appt.  Everything looked fine, bleeding stopped, and he gave me the go ahead.  I think the waiting period is about 2 weeks to let the tissues heal.

    Hi - I had a mc this weekend as well.  Our sex drive has been through the roof tonight.  My doctor said we could have sex once the bleeding has stopped for a full week and could start TTC after I've had a period.  I think this varies between medical professionals.

    I have both times simply because my husband has been so wonderful and we both need the intimacy. It also doesn't hurt that we tend to cuddle and hold hands during the difficult times.
    DD born 1/28/99 Second BFP 7/23/11 due 4/1/2012 miscarriage 9/2/2011 DNC 9/4/2011 BFP 2/3/2012 due 10/19/2012 mmc discovered 3/30/2012- d&c 4/3/2012 loss was around 9 weeks. Going through rpl testing. Dr. Suspects some type of blood clothing disorder. Current dx- endometrosis stage II and possible PCOS.

    Today marks 3 weeks since my mc. I've had the highest sex drive EVER and also more ewcm than ever before. I didn't know if the sex drive was hormone related or cause I'm reading 50shades of grey... Glad to hear that others have experienced this as well.
