When did you stop prog & estrogen?

My RE said I could stop the progesterone suppositories at 10 weeks. I think I feel ok about that.

He then said I could stop my Estrace now. That I feel uneasy about, even though I don't have any history of low numbers in that area.

I'm just curious, even though I know everyone's Drs are different...

When did you stop supplements?

I was never on estrogen. I stopped PIO at the end of the 10th week of pregnancy.

I am stopping both the estrace and crinone at 11 weeks, so about the same. :-)

I'm the UNusual case here. Both Estrace and progesterone were stopped after my 2nd beta - so that was around 4.5 wks! My progesterone levels were sky high (?200) when they were checked along with my beta. I'm 10.5 wks right now and haven't experienced any spotting or bleeding.

My RE had me stop everything at 8w2d. Then I went back in 3 days later, and had blood drawn to see how much my levels had changed (they were checking them every week). They felt everything had stayed in normal ranges off the supplementation, so I was told I could stay off everything. I freaked out, though, because my progesterone level dropped a little farther than I thought sounded OK -- so they said I could go on Endometrin until 10 weeks if it gave me peace of mind (which it did).

I feel like I am the only one, but I never took supplemental estrogen. I quit progesterone at 10 weeks.

I stopped my progeseterone suppositories cold turkey at 10 weeks. I haven't had any problems. I was nervous about stopping, but seeing that most people stopped around 10 weeks made me feel better.

I was never on estrogen so I can't help with that one. I don't even know if they checked my estrogen level because all they ever mentioned to me was my HCG and my P4 levels.

I stopped estrogen patches at 10 weeks and progesterone suppositories at 12 weeks.

Hmmm the RE told me to stop using the progesterone suppositories next monday - which will be 9 weeks. I never took estrogen.

I stopped progesterone at 8 weeks. More and more clinics are stopping prog. supps earlier and earlier. My clinic would have taken me off of them sooner, but I was away and couldn't get in for my second (release) scan until then.
