It actually started last night while celebrating Easter with my family. Q was upstairs with my mom and Grandma as they got dinner ready and I was downstairs with my dad and H for about an hour. When I came upstairs Q saw me and got really excited and yelled out "Ma!" I almost cried. My grandma, the only other witness, was beside herself.
So today, Q figured out he can put closed mouth sounds with open mouth sounds and has been babbling bababa bamalada on and on. Then he'll look at me and say "mom!" then start again. He's also echoing me when i say "hi" or "hey" with "eye" or "ay". I actually got him to say "eye daba" and was trying to get him to do it again on video so i could send it to H but no luck.
Third huge thing, he's pushing himself up on his hands and knees. Before it was always upper body all the way up or lower body, but his tummy would always be partially on the floor. Today is the first time that he's gotten his tummy all the way off the floor. No forward motion yet but I'm jumping out of my skin excited.
