I went and got a cupcake yesterday from my favorite cupcake bakery an I was getting ready to eat and dropped it in the kitchen floor! Most people would just go on and be ok(that's how I would have been about 7 months ago at least), but I cried for about 3 hours!! Anyone else had break downs over crazy things like dropping a cupcake?
Re: Emotional over a cupcake!! What??
I cried the other day because I forgot something at my sister's house 2.5 hours away. It's too big to mail, so I have to wait until the next time I see her. I didn't cry for 3 hours - but a couple of minutes. Definitely more emotional than normal.
But, honestly, I would have scraped the cupcake up and eaten it. The floor can't be that dirty.
I cried when DH ordered a 2nd blizzard for me when I changed my mind on the flavor I wanted from the ordering screen to the pick-up window. It was a happy "you did that for me?" cry. We both laughed at how silly it was. Def. only lasted like 2 min tops
I agree with PP, I too would have scraped the cupcake off the floor with a very minimal amount of shame.
Haha me too! 5 second rule!
I still cry every single time I see a birth on TV, even when it is fake!!! When Dr. B gave birth last week on Bones, it was so obviously unrealistic and I was just laughing and sobbing at the same time.
My temper has also gotten a little bit shorter. I am a little embarrassed to admit that when one of my kiddos was whining about doing a lacing card and threw it down on the table last week (interrupting my small group for the bazillionth time), without thinking I picked it up, flung it across the room (away from kids), and kept teaching. It was not the highlight of my career, but it sure did get his attention! (I did talk to him about it later when I was calm and we both agreed to work that out better next time.)
