I am debating between the two. I definitely want antique/cream
furniture & both come in these colors). Looking for something that
is a classic. For each I am looking at a nightstand, double dresser,
&lifetime/ grow with me crib.Any thoughts suggestions?
Thank you:)

I'm glad you are a Young America owner because I was also concerned about the durability of the sliding drawers. A lot companies are now making the drawers that slide a lot easier with the metal slide/gliders that make the drawers retract or slide back in easily. That is what I am concerned about.
I can see that being a concern. The drawers definitely aren't as smooth as some other furniture I have but we don't use the drawers 20 times a day where it might get annoying or wear out quickly. You might have to ask teenagers- they abuse furniture. That's really the only way to know if it will hold up. But so far, we haven't had any problems.
I know what you mean about the drawers though- my kids bathroom vanity has the drawers that dont even slam shut- they stop about a finger's length away and then slowly close- you know which ones I'm talking about? I like those a lot for kids. I wonder if they even make those for dressers.

Thanks, I did by the conversion kit when I purchased the crib and dresser on the spot for my son. I was smart enough to think that if they discontinue the set I would be out of luck. He got Pali which I also recommend, they just do not have a style that I would like for DD.
I don't mean to alarm you but I used to work around elementary school kids. Some 7 and 8 year olds can be rough on stuff. I was rough on some stuff as a child. The drawers also get abused by putting alot of stuff in them. The heavier the drawer the more pressure can cause damage over time. I had that happen with my set as a young girl. Stuff made in the past 20 years is not made like stuff made 40-50 years ago. I do want to mention that the Caroline set you got is very pretty:)
