I currently own a Girasol wrap that I LOVE LOVE LOVE, however, we are currently having 85+ degree weather and I'm finding it extremely difficult to stay cool with LO.
I'm looking into purchasing a Vatanai, EllaRoo, or an organic Storchenwiege. I've never seen these in person and am wondering what the difference is in comparison to the Girasol and amongst each other.
Please, please if you have any experience with any of these wraps can you please share what you know. Thank you all so very much.
Re: Woven Wraps + Hot Days
My vatanai (I have maruyama) is much lighter than my girasols (I have old and new weaves) but I don't find it as supportive.
I haven't had contact with an organic storch. My ordinary storch is about as thick as a girasol.
How old is your Lo and what kind of carrys are you doing?
I find anything that has LO on my front and the wrap across my front and back very warm eg a FWCC or a double hammock, but that doing a ruck carry I can use any wrap without it affecting my temperature.
You might like a linen wrap like agave by didymos...very supportive but nice and light.
