Back pain after epidural?

I had a c-section almost 4 weeks ago but for the lasr couple days I have had this pain that radiates from the spot of my epidural around to the front and is so painful I'm almost sick from it. Anyone else have this pain.

    I got really itchy around the epidural spot this time but I never had pain.  I have had friends that had some leg pain from it.  Call your OB about this.  It may or may not have anything to do with the epidural.  There are other things that cause pain that radiates from your back around to your front!  May be something totally unrelated.  Very important to call the dr. about it.

    I would call your doctor if it's so pianful you are sick from it. It could be from the epi but there are other things that it could be coming from.

    This exact thing happened to me and I thought it would be permanent! But, it happened with DS #1 and went away at around 3 months. This time I haven't had anything but a little itching around the insertion site. I would still bring it up to your OB, just in case they want to keep an eye on it! Good luck!!

    i looked this up hoping i'd find someone with a similar issue . . . your symptoms are the exact same as mine! i had a c-section a little over three weeks ago and am having a radiating pain from the epidural area. i though that it was really strange because it does wrap around the front, into my rib area! i have an appointment with my ob tomorrow to have my bp checked (i had preeclampsia with high bp that didn't go away after my c-section). hopefully he'll have some answers! did you have any luck with figuring out what was going on with yours?
