This weekend sucks

My Dh was playing a game of friendsly tackle football with a bunch of buddies yesterday, got kneed in the face and we spent 6 hours in the ER. Well, he has multiple fractures in his cheekbone, eye orbital, and sinus bone. Lovely. So, next week he sees a plastic surgeon to see if surgery is needed since it wasn't severe enough for immediate surgery. Right now he's on meds and passed out, which is a blessing because he was in a lot of pain.

To top that off, I've wanted to throw up all weekend. I feel like crap, DH is in a ton of pain, and E wants to run around like a crazy man. No one wins this weekend.

I'm sorry you're having such a rough weekend, sounds like that was one heck of a friendly football game. Hope you and your DH feels better soon and that the appointment next week goes well.
