    You can just use the seat on the toilet. That's what we use sometimes (bathroom is downstairs and bedrooms are up) We have a potty in her room for right after naps and we put her on it during diaper changes

    we're just going with a potty. that way when she can walk herself into the bathroom she doesn't need to be lifted up. i'm inclined to think that she'll like it better if she can be a 'big girl' that way.
