I am wondering what moms/dads/adults around your LO specifically got the whooping cough booster in order to help keep your LO safe. I am scared of someone unintentionally passing this on and it is so scary (mostly since it looks like a cold.)
My husband and I both got it last year right before we started trying to get pregnant, intentionally to protect LO.
ETA: I just read the OP. We're assuming that at least my in-laws got it because they're both doctors and pro-vaccinations, but we're not sure. I'm glad you posted this, because it made me think to ask my mom to get it. I'm sure she'd be happy to do it.
ETA Again! Apparently my mom already got it.

My DH got it before Nolan was born as did my MIL who is currently living with us. I got mine in the hospital. It is different than most boosters I have gotten b/c it did make my arm very sore and a little red.

I was going to get it but I wasn't able to because I had a bad reaction to my immunizations (Tdap) as a child and couldn't walk for a week. This upsets me because I'm so afraid of my LO getting sick.

I got mine while in the hospital. DH is going to call his Doc to schedule his. I left a vm for DD's doc also to see if at age ten she can get one. Just saw on the news this morning that it is around again big time!
I got mine at the hospital the day before we were discharged. DH thinks he got his at work already, but we really need to double check. No one else (g'parents) has it as far as I know, but most of them also have common sense and wouldn't come over if they're sick. We also would avoid them if we knew they were sick.
It was offered to us while I was in the hospital, but I was a bit overwhelmed with being poked and prodded at that point. We got it the day after we were discharged at LO's first pedi appointment.
We got several shots each - Whooping cough, flu and tetanus.
I got it at the hospital, MH got it shortly after DS was born. My parents both have it and I'm pretty sure my in-laws got it too. They both are teachers of young children and whooping cough is REALLY bad in our area this year.

A note on vaccines.. a lot of time the health department offers them at a very low cost. In my area in Ohio the cost is $10. So that could be cheaper than an office copay.
I got it in the hospital, but thanks for reminding me that I need to get on my DH and parents to get it as well! Everything that happened in the hospital is a blur, but this is one of those things I have been meaning to follow up on.
