Sore nipples...

Any suggestions? My nipples have been through heck this last 2 weeks with LO learning to latch correctly, etc. Now I can tolerate most of BF, but my nipples are soo sore when they touch any clothing. I can't even stand to wear a baggy t shirt as it just barely graizes the nipples and causes pain. Anyone have any experience?

I was using lansinoh before I got this, and it is soooo much better. My right nip can take it and my left one settles down so much faster.

buy some medela breast shells. they are like little cones you wear over your nips to keep anything from touching them.

use lots of different positions because the different angles will reduce chaffing on the same part of your nipple. when i was really sore the "laid back position" saved my life... that's where you lay back on a slight incline and put LO tummy to tummy with you vertically... like, with their feet pointing down towards your feet (google it if that makes no sense). in that position gravity pulls their head down towards your breast and keeps their latch nice and deep. its glorious
