Still Bleeding...

I had my baby 9 weeks ago and I am still bleeding enough to fill a pad a day. I am BFing and FF. I got my Mirena inserted at 7 weeks PP as well. Just wondering if this is normal to still have this happening. Thoughts???

    I thought it was normal to bleed a bit after the MIrena? (Dont quote me as I"ve never had one but thought I had heard that).

    I didn't have Mirena but I bled for 11 weeks. My doc did check me again so I would call yours to let them know if you are concerned. My bleeding would alternate between heavy and light. I have a bicornuate uterus and my doc thinks that I bled longer because each horn bled separately. Bleeding for so long is really no fun! The good news for me was that I didn't get PPAF until my LO was over 6 months (when I cut back on pumping sessions at work.)

    I bled for 8 months after putting the Mirena in. I ended up getting it out because of that.
