Care Package Ideas

I'm sending out my husband's second care package this week and I would love for one of the boxes to be "daddy-to-be" themed. He's so excited he's told nearly everyone on the base! I'm going to include two books "What to Expect When Your Wife is Expanding" and whatever else looks good at B&N, but after that I'm lost! I think I might try to find a "new daddy" pin or necklace he can wear. I haven't had my first ultrasound yet, so I can't include that. Do you lovely ladies have any ideas?

    I don't know if this is too cheesy but what might be cute is for you to send a camera or a journal for him to write or make a video journal to the baby so that he can feel closer to the baby while he's away from home. I'm sure anything you send will be great and he'll love it!

    I like this idea!  

    Cookies in baby-ish shapes.  Tiny feet, ducks, bottles... I'm sure you know, guys over seas love the cookies and baked goods to be sent.  I learned that one when my Fi (now H) was in Afghanistan.)  

    Began TTC #1 in January 2011
    Confirmation and Removal of Endo - March 2012
    +#1 on 4/1/12 - m/c @ ~8w 5d
    +#2 Tx cycle 4 - 5 mg Letrozole + 75iu Follsitim & Ovidrel w/ IUI on 11/13/12 - EDD 7/23/13 
    7 week u/s revealed THREE babies, all with heartbeats.  153bpm, 148bpm, and 136bpm
    9 week u/s revealed loss of Baby B.  A and C are growing on track.  A measuring 9w1d with 172bpm and C measuring 9w0d with 179 bpm.  
    Elective sex determination u/s on 2/8 revealed... boy AND girl!

    This is such a great idea! I know if My father were away during the time my mom was pregnant it would definitely be something I would want to read!

    With my first pg DH was really into the weekly photos from the moment we found out, even though there was nothing to show for it.  Could you send a picture of your belly holding the positive pg test?  Something he could look at every day?  

    I'm new to this board, so don't know if you already did something similar in the 1st care package.  Just an idea.  Smile

    Thank you ladies for all of your awesome ideas! I'm going to Barnes & Noble today to check out their books and journals. I'm also gonna find a cookie recipe that will hold up...thanks megemoney! I'm really excited to get this one out for him!
