I've heard yolks around 8 months and whites by a year around the bump. I was told we could introduce any food any time so he had both by 8 months. I introduced yolk and white at different times before giving him whole eggs.
We gave DD scrambled egg (whole thing) around 9 months. We were okay'd to give anything except honey before 1 year. Neither SO or my family have any food allergies.
Because DS had eczema his Dr said to wait until a year because a lot of times eczema and egg allergies go hand in hand (and as it turned out he has a severe egg allergy).
For some reason my pedi says no egg whites until 2 years (yolk fine), but I'm not following that. My son had a few bites of whole egg around 1 year. We don't feed it often but next time we make eggs I'm giving him some.
If I had it to do again, I would wait a year and intro the whole egg together rather than try to give her yolk a few months earlier. She hates eggs now. I try to sneak them in things for protein, and she's hip to it. I have to be creative with meats and other whole protein combinations.

I think you're suppose to do yolks before white/whole... But by one year I think they can eat both. You could've given yolk months ago.
Id give yolk before jumping into both....

This. We never had a problem. DS loves scrambled eggs with cheese! It's an easy option when you have nothing else.
Same here. No history of allergies, but LO is allergic to eggs.
