    I mean, in all honesty, we have a great city.  The fact that there isnt more of a philly group of moms is sad in itself...but the least we can do is keep this board alive and kicking!

     

    It doesn't just have to be about pregnancy either.  We all have tons of things in common.  Lets talk about daycares, good deals, boutique's, family pets, philly activities!!!

     

    I see people reading posts...but no one bothers to reply!

    There was a bit of activity at the end of the summer but then it sort of quieted down. I am stunned that there aren't any mom's groups around to join. Let's try and check this often and share some stuff, info, etc as suggested! Great idea!

    I see women from Philly on the tri boards, but I've never seen much here. I check in occasionally and don't really post responses if I don't have anything helpful to add.

    That and there will always be lurkers. What can ya do?

    I check our the board once a day.  I'm not in the city, I'm in Chester County, so a lot of the discussion does not apply to me.

    i think some of the problem is the fact that this board is not set up to keep hot posts at the top.  i think that when someone responds to something it should be bumped up to the top so people can see where the action is...instead its hard to follow because there are alot of posts about hospitals and such that just don't get responses.

    I haven't really checked this board much because there is not really a lot of stuff going on.  I have to admit that I am mostly in the tri-boards myself. 

    Is there a way we can try and check in on each other?  That in itself should help to get to know each other better as well.
