Playtex Drop Ins Question

I have a few of the drop Ins bottles that have the colored caps where you cover the bottle without the nipple on (does that make sense??) These always leak for me!! I try to screw them on so tight and they still leak! For travel, I need to use the Nurser kind that you can put the nipple on and it has the clear plastic cap. Anyone else notice the standard ones leaking?? What am I doing wrong?

    You should have the nipple on with the colored ones as well. What made you think that you could put it on without a nipple?

    I don't know of any lids you can use without the nipple.  The standard lids go on over the nipple - the tip of the nipple goes into that hole in the center, and the rest of the nipple just collapses down so it will fit.

    I'm not sure of any advantage of the clear plastic cap (we have both kinds). 

     Maybe I'm misunderstanding your question?

    you still need a nipple. it will get squished down when you put the cover on but it's fine.

    Aren't you supposed to put the "cap" on like that when you are on the go??

    Yes, but the cap still goes on over the nipple.

    LOL!  I hate those stupid caps.  I wish I could buy the clear ones and replace the flat ones.  They are very difficult to take off.

    lol - you're going to laugh at yourself. You are supposed to use those caps with the nipple on first. The cap just squishes the nipple down. thanks for making me smile. :o)
