Disappointed with Babysteals

Everyone has been raving about babysteals so I've been stalking the site for a while and I finally placed my first order on Tuesday for Soap nuts.  Their website says they usually ship within 1 day.  Well this is day #3 and they still hadn't shipped it.

I emailed them and it turns out they are having "technical difficulties" and my order won't be shipped out till tomorrow or Saturday.  So much for the 1 day shipping they are known for  Indifferent

On top of that because of the type of product I ordered they only offered FedEx shipping which was like $13 so I expected to get the package fast for that price.  The only "good" thing....if you want to call it that....was they refunded me $6 for the hassle of it not shipping when it was supposed to.

  • I've seen a few 'steals' on there recently that specifically said their shipping would be delayed. Perhaps this was one of those?

  • My disappointment with BS is that the only way you can pay is through Google Checkout. I wish they'd let you pay with Paypal. I've never ordered from there because of this.

    I don't remember seeing anything like that but I guess it's possible. Just disapointed that they express how they usually ship in one day and the one time I place an order it takes 5. I will probably order from them again as long as the package comes in one piece un harmed lol
  • I had that same problem - I ordered some aden + anais blankets from there on 03/22, and they didn't ship until 4/2.  :-(  I also think their shipping charges area  little high, so I'm not sure if I'll order from them again or not.

    So sorry you're disappointed! I actually work at BS and assure you this shipping issue is not the norm. We had several shipping issues hit all at once in the last couple weeks, so we are catching up now. We're doing everything we can to get all orders out ASAP (we even had a shipping pow wow with everyone on staff to get as many orders out as we could). Anyway, so sorry for the delay. We hope to be right back to our normal same-day shipping soon! Totally feel free to email our customer service team again if you need any help. :)

    I think their shipping prices are outrageous and almost negate the deal you are getting most times.
