anyone have a kirby???

I just bought a kirby from a lady its the sentria series not even a year old. but omg it was sooo disgusting. and it also appears the little black belts are not even on it? Do I just call kirby and order the belts? Do you think there will be any problem that Im not the one who bought it new? Im beyond confused with this machine. Ive been sitting here looking thru the manual all morning

    Lurking....Kirby.s customer service is really great (my FIL is a distributor).  It' is a very complex machine but they do an amazing job cleaning.  If you google kirby in your area a local distributor should come up-you can order extra bags, get it serviced, etc. all through them.

    We didn't get a paper manual with ours (we also have the sentria). Our manual is all on DVD. Perhaps YouTube would have the instruction videos? We had the salesman show us most stuff, but the DVD has helped a lot.  (they showed us how to change a light bulb with one of the attachments, the video for this had me scratching my head and laughing at the same time). 

    Also, you should be able to get any parts from a local kirby salesman.
