  I, unfortunately, have to attend a bachelorette party in San Diego at 30 weeks pregnant. Any ideas on swimwear? Do I HAVE to wear a one piece, is it socially acceptable to wear a two piece or should I just suck it up and wear a onesie?

  Meh, depends on your comfort level. I say if your comfortable wearing a two piece and it fits well then more power to you. I was just at the beach today and saw two very viasbly pregnant ladies wearing bikinis and I thought they looked great.

  Personally, I bought a tankini with a skirted bottom but I like a little more coverage.

  Living in Hawaii I have seen my fair share of all different styles, just wear it with confidence and make sure it fits right i.e. nothing popping out! have fun in San Diego.

  I'd probably wear a maternity suit, but I'm a pretty modest person. I got a really cute tankini & bottom and bought a skirt to cover-up from Old Navy.  It had gotten good reviews, and I agree with them....cheap and works great!

  This!  Except, I got my tankini from Motherhood online.  But I'm also pretty modest and with giant boobs and not perfect skin from LO#1, I prefer to be a bit covered up.

  I bought a tankini- bottoms from Target and a top from Old Navy.  For some reason the tops at Target were way too flowing and big for me.

  It depends what you are comfortable in. I am going to Miami next weekend at 31 weeks and plan to wear a skirted bottom and regular bikini top.   I never thought I would feel good enough to wear a bikini, but we sat by our pool last Saturday and I tested it out and I felt perfectly fine.  I really don't want to spend a bunch of money on a Maternity swimsuit to wear for 10 weeks.

  If you're comfortable in a two piece then go for it! Personally I feel better with more coverage (especially on my lower half), so I got this maternity bathing suit at Mermaid Maternity.
