When do you start seeing stretch marks? I think I probably will have mine later on when both of my mom and sister have them. My sister's stretch marks didn't show up until 36 weeks. Is it quite common for them to show up that late?
I don't have any (yet) but swore I would wake up with them this morning because last night my skin was so tight and stretched - I must be going through a growth spurt.
I have heard a lot of women get them later. So we aren't in the clear yet. Some didn't get them until the last week or two of pregnancy. I don't know what to expect. My mom didn't get any but she stayed pretty small throughout pregnancy because she was sick the whole time, my sister just told me yesterday that she got a few. So we'll see...GL
There was a post about this a week or two ago. One of the replies said she got them a few days after delivering... arg, so I guess a person's not in the clear until even sometime after delivering?
I hope to never see them! I've been using Palmer's twice a day on my stomach, hips, thighs and breasts since the day found out I was pregnant. So far (knock on wood) I do not have a single one.
I hope to never see them too, but I am expecting them because both my mom and sister got them. I have been slathering on elasticity oil and cream after shower everyday, hopefully that might help a little.
I use Palmers everyday but still have a few on my lower belly. I think I got them around 27/28 weeks. I hope that I don't get more, but I'm guessing this is just the beginning.

Haven't had any across my tummy, but I noticed a faint circle around my belly button around 18 wks, and it's been looking more and more like a stretch mark. My lovely husband thinks its funny :P
I have a few, and noticed them about 2 weeks ago. Mine are below the belly button on the left and right side. Maybe about 4 marks on each side and they are only about an inch long each. Of course I've gained 33 lbs so far, so that is probably why.
I haven't gotten any new ones yet, but last time I didn't get them until the last few weeks. And yes, I've heard you can get them after delivery too so I guess you're not in the clear for awhile. The ones from my first pregnancy are pretty light now.
I have the joy of having them all on my breast but no where else, I switched from palmers to using bio-oil and it seems to be making them fade already. I went up 3 cup sizes so I really am not that surprised but they still look bad

I have some on my upper inner thighs. If I'm going to get them I'll take them there! Hahaha. Otherwise none. I've been using lotion (Body Shop Body Butter) mostly just so the skin stays hydrated and I don't get itchy. I've resolved myself to the fact that it's mostly genetics. My mom didn't get many, but she's also built a lot leaner (though not necessarily weighing much less) than me in general. I'm not sure if that bodes well or not.
I don't have any yet. I've been lotioning morning and night, but I'm not counting on anything preventing them. I find I get itchy when I don't lotion regularly, especially under my boobs. So I'll cross my fingers that I don't get any stretch marks, but I'm not counting on it.
Re: Stretch marks?
Never...I hope!
I really don't know. I don't have any yet, but I'm assuming they can show up at any time.
