New to the board

Hello,

I am a longtime Nestie with a new SN and am new to this board.  I have lurked for a little bit.  I am from Central MA and my husband and I are hoping to adopt from foster care.  We are halfway through the homestudy/classes process.  We are hoping to adopt a child or 2 siblings under the age of 5.

I am a social worker for the state, so a private agency is doing our home study.

Any words of wisdom?

    I'm an infrequent poster to this board, but I lurk pretty regularly. I just wanted to wish you good luck! My H and I are on a similar path. We're licensed to adopt up to two children, ages 0-5, from foster care.
    TTC: Jan '08 - Apr '11, Began adoption process: Nov '10, Licensed to adopt: June '11, Waiting....
