I had horrible swelling after my c/s and it would not go down even with drinking lots of water and elevating. Then, around day 14 it just magically disappeared. Hang in there, it will go away soon!
After a week my feet started to slowly de-puff. They look normal now at 11 days out. However, I was SO swollen after delivery that my doc wrote me a script for a diuretic, so that probably helped speed things along!

Day 14??? Oh boy...good thing the weather is almost warm enough for flip flops.

This is me too. I think the dieretic helped, but I had pre eclampsia and gained 11lbs in less than 3 days before my emergency c/s. And after my c/s it got alot worse. It was disgusting, my feet jiggled when I walked. But by day 7 or 8, I was back to normal. If I was on them alot, a little swelling would come back but not too bad!

Ha, so true! I was in dead of winter and the only thing that would fit were slippers!
Mine was completely gone after 2 weeks but really after a week I just looked like pregnant puffy. It looked normal to others but I never swelled at all when I was pregnant so it was very noticeable to me. Before the week, omg, I called the dr bc I was in such pain from the feet/leg stretching.
