So I have been working non stop so that I can use my vacation and sick time for when the baby comes. I am tired when I get home from work but do I complain when my DH is sitting on his ass watching TV and the cloths still need to be folded or the dishwasher emptied?.No I just do it. My weekends consist of cleaning at least one room of the house (since I am a lot slower these days) and trying to get exercise to stay healthy for the baby. My ankles swell because I don't actually lay down until 9 at night. Our house has been a disaster zone because DH has been renovating the upstairs so that we could move our spare bedroom up there and make a nursery downstairs. It has taken him 7 months to get two bedrooms done (one gutted, the other just painted) and paint the nursery. In the mean time my brother redid our electrical in the basement so that we could actually run an ac unit in the nursery this summer, in the process created holes all over the place. So DH still has to clean the upstairs bathroom (he threw everything in there so that the rugs could be put in), finish the upstairs closets, and fill in the holes downstairs before the baby gets here. He was lucky enough to have the day off today, something I could really use right about now. Anyway I figure he could get the closets upstairs cleaned up and painted so that I can empty the nursery closet out and move the crap upstairs. Well what does he do?..oh he decides he is going to go golfing. I am so mad I can't even function in work right now. Why is it the pregnant woman has to work full time and then come home and clean up his crap all week and he can go off and have fun?? His response, well I helped you clean the couch last weekend. Big F-ing deal!!
Ladies whoever has the husband that lets them come home and get the rest we actually need and does all the work?..send him my way for a few days PLEASE!! Thanks for listening, I think it is better to go off here then kill my husband.
