Follow Up - Contempt

Has anyone been to one? Today my attorney told me we had a strong case. He also told me I'll probably be on the stand and I'll be questioned by ex's attorney. I am confident but also worried. It's Tuesday morning.

    I was told that if I had to testify at my XH's contempt hearing, all I would be asked is if I had been receiving CS payments from him outside of the FOC. The courts just want to know that 1) you haven't gotten any CS from him and 2) He hasn't been trying to make arrangements to pay outside of the courts.

    Yes. With DDs father. We went before a judge. No testifying. They reviewed the case, found him in contempt, fined him, and went to haul him off to jail. I intervened an asked for a second chance. He had to pay the contempt fee, 1000, and we went back 30 days later to review the amount he had to pay. They lowered his monthly and cranked up his back. Went in under orders for 311/month with 50 back and left with 220/month and 150 back...later he requested ANOTHER adjustment, and he walke out of there with 197/month and 200 in back. He finally quit asking for adjustments.
