1 step forward, 2 steps back

in March 2012 Moms
thought our nights were finally getting better...but DD2 had other plans last night...wouldn't settle to sleep the whole night.  i know things will get easier as she gets a little older, but man, i'm exhausted...is there a 1 week fussy growth spurt?

    There is a growth spurt at 7-10 days. I know DS was super fussy during his and wanted to eat all the time even though we are formula feeding him. It should only last a few days though! Good luck!

    Yes actually, I believe the first growth spurt is at 1 week and the next one is at 3 weeks!

    There's definitely a 1 week fussy period! Ugggh, that was so rough - I feel for you! It took 2 nights of fussiness for her to get over it, and right after that she figured out when night time was! Now she doesn't have any wakeful periods from 8:00pm-ish to 6:00am-ish, just wakes to eat and then goes right back down. There's light at the end of the tunnel!

    Our lil guy is 3 weeks today and he woke up to feed at 1 am 3 am and 7 am.. slept in bed with his daddy all the way through till 11:30 am  ... I had to wake him up and feed him and then I washed and dressed him..  he watched march of the penguins and played around with a boob and now he is back in bed asleep with daddy... this kid never does anything on a normal schedule lol.. his circumcision bell healed and fell off early and so did his umbilical cord.

    Earlier when I went to wake him up he was ass up in the air on his knees..diaper riding low with his ass crack peekin out.. I had to laugh, DH's mom was always telling him off for not wearing a belt with his pants.. he is so tall and skinny if he bent over he'd be showing his plummers ass too. 

    I wish I coulda got a picture but didnt wanna wake them both up.. it was just too frickin cute.  Lil man is def gaining weight tho.. if he keeps this up I'll need a back brace soon lol .. so heaven help me if he gets another growth spurt this weekend
