I was so happy that I was hairless for my c/s. When the nurse came in the next day to remove the bandage, all I can say is "OUCH". If you want a free wax job that'll get you there.
If you are going to do it do not do ift the day of or night before. This is standard operating room protocol....let them do it immediately before surgery. It decreases the risk of infection.
With DS1 I had a wax about 3 days before. With DS2 I used veet hair remover. I'm so glad I did both times b/c the nurse was going to dry shave me. My skin is super sensvitive and that would have hurt like hell
Is this just for planned c-section? I had an emergency c-section. No one shaved me, and I don't recall the removal of the bandage being painful. Even the removal of the staples wasn't that bad.
Re: PSA: Shave/wax/nair your hair before your c/s

When I had an epi with DS1 it actually felt good coming off. It almost felt like my back was being scratched.
