TMI..but i need advice

Ok I know this is TMI but I am asking anyway, so sorry ahead of time.  I am 9 weeks pregnant and having a lot of thick egg-whitey discharge.  I have also had a lot of lower back pain today.  I researched online, but so many different sites said so many different things.  Not really sure what to think.

    Hormones can make your body do funky things during pregnancy....different discharge is one of them.  Chalk that up to one of the fun things that happens during pregnancy.  By the end of the day, my back is sore and tired.  I'm sure it doesn't help that "the girls" have already gone up a cup size.  lol...

    i am 6 weeks now and i havent noticed any change in discharge yet, and old mild back pain once in awhile. With my first pregnancy I remember having thicker discharge like that. Its normal. You should read the book "Belly Laughs" it talks about wierd things like that and is very funny.

    It sounds firly normal to me, but if you're worried give your doctor a ring.  They might be able to give you some peace of mind.

    I have been experiencing the same thing, and it has increased a bit as I am heading into 10 weeks.  I had an appt yesterday and was told this is completely normal.  I have read that it is normal and can continue throughout pregnancy as well, (unfortunately!), but felt better verifying with my OB.

    that is me too, I was like that the whole pregnancy with DD too, so it looks like this pregnancy is going to be like that too, great.....

    I actually asked both of these questions of my doctor this past Thursday at my 9 week ultrasound. The discharge is just hormones and it's actually serving to keep the vagina clean and sterile. The lower back pain is because the baby is sitting low in your abdomen and pushing into your back, at the base of the spine. Doctor Mohr said that this should go away in a month or so as the baby grows and moves further up.
