Can I just say...my DH is acting like such a baby

He got a tetnus shot yesterday and is walking around rubbing his arm complaining, LOL. Try being us for a month! Do your DH's act like babies with stuff like this? It is the end of the world when he gets a cold too!

    all.the.time.I just give him that evil eye look and most of the time he shuts up. Trying injecting yourself full of hormones buddy and then we will talk.

    My DH has been doing injections daily for over a year....so I will have nothing on him there.

    Colds though - yes.

    My DH was complaining about random crap the other day, allergies and such.  I told him to be quite because he was making me crazy.  His response was "no, the progesterone is making you crazy".  I almost punched him!

    IVF# 1 W/ICSI= BFN
    IVF# 2: cancelled d/t no response
    IVF# 3= 1 egg retrieved=immature/not viable
    IVF# 4= c/p
    ***CCRM ODWU***
    Found DHs BT and Me-decreased blood flow to uterus
    Recommended DE IVF w/PGD, incorporate electro-acupuncture. Decided to cycle locally
    ***New RE***
    DE IVF# 1(cycle #6) w/pgd, (freeze all): 30R, 23M, 15F, slow/poor embryo development, 4 biopsied, 1 Normal "Norm"; DE IVF w/PGD, incorporate electro-acupuncture.

    IVF# 7: (OE/DS) 1R, 1M, 1F, arrested day 5
    Plan-DE IVF# 2 (cycle #8): DE/DS in May 2015

    I can see how that makes you crazy. Yes tetnus shots hurt...thats fair...but so do injections...yet somehow you find the abiity to do it day in and day out for months at a time and not even wince. They just dont understand sometimes...but then again its not them getting stuck with needles 3-4 times a day. 

    My DH is pretty good about not complaining (even before IF). One time when he was giving me the PIO shot I winced pretty bad. He asked me if it hurt a lot. I told him that if he wanted to really know, I had a whole bunch of extra syringes and sesame oil in the pantry...Id be happy to give him a shot in the butt with a 2 inch needle just for fun...its now the ongoing joke whenever he has anything to complain about. Puts things in perspective :)

    lol my DH says the same thing. In fact everytime I take my meds he says "crazy time"

    I prefer to have to travel for work (all of a sudden) when he is sick. It is Oscar worthy, really!

    Me: 37 DH: 40 TTC since 9/09
    #1 BFP 1/10/11; missed m/c discovered 7w5d
    IF Dx: Endo, hetero MTHFR mutation, poor morphology
    #1 IUI: 1/18/12 = BFN
    #1 IVF/ICSI 4/2/12 = 2 x 7-cell and 1 x 5-cell transferred (3dt) = BFP!!
    H was born at 41w2d on 12/29/12 - be still my heart!
    #2 IVF/ICSI 1/19/14 = 2 x 8 cells transferred (3dt) = BFP!! EDD 10/09/14
    M&W born at 37 weeks on 9/18/14 - I am the momma of 3 boys!!!

    Oh yes DH is the same.  When we started getting all of our testing done, they had to take blood from him.  He came home whining that they filled TWO whole vials of blood.  It was horrible!!  I just said, "ya, they took 11 from me.  Quit yer whining."  (He's sitting next to me right now and just said, "I remember those vials.  It was awful!")  LOL!

    HAHA sounds just like my DH. He is having TESE and he keeps referring to his time after surgery as his "death bed". As in "Hun when I'm on my death bed, can we have the xbox in the bedroom?" Really buddy? 

     

    ETA: Tetnus shots do hurt like a b*tch ...but they are still whiners!!

    Mine is being a baby because tomorrow I won't pick up his 3 wood (golf club) from a shop by my work and go an hour out of my way to drop it off to him on my way out of town. He keeps saying he NEEDS it. If he needs it then he needs to reevaluate his priorities in life! lol

    Mine will say something like "that was the worst pain I have ever felt" when he stubs his toe... 2 years ago he had cancer pain that the strongest opiates the pharmacy had to offer couldn't touch! Really?!

    DX: MFI due to Chemo/Stem Cell Transplant for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. RE said IVF is best option with DH's frozen boys.
    IVF #1 April 2012: Menopur and Bravelle; 1 egg retrieved, 0 fertilized. Boo.
    IVF #2 August 2012: Gonal-F 300, Menopur 300. Beta #1 9/6: 382... BFPx2!

    I will have to highly consider this!  Maybe when I get home, I will pull out the "honey do list" and maybe we can get some home projects out of the way :)

    DH is a HUGE baby when it comes to getting shots and/or being sick. But I have to say, he has been awesome during this IVF process. He constantly says things like "I don't know how you do it" and "you're so brave." this is very unlike him so I'll take what I can get! LOL
    dx: MFI 0% morph & low count. Occasional Anovulatory cycles.

    That's why we were given all the difficult tasks in life...AF, pregnancy, labor, menopause....men would NEVER be able to handle any of it!  or at least mine wouldn't LOL!

    DX: Me-PCOS, retroverted/ tilted ute - DH- MFI, DH-4 mo of Clomid therapy= no improvement. Weekly HCG injections.
    Me-34, DH-33
    HSG- unsuccessful, SHSG (dialated)-no blockages
    7/11-Clomid (unmonitored) BFN,
    #1 Fresh IVF 9/11: w/ ICSI & AH (only option): (1 transfered, 8BF) = BFN!!
    #2 FET: 2 transferred (2 6BF) 12/11 = BFFN!!
    Surprise + HPT on break! 2/12 Beta 1: 6 Beta 2: <5 = c/p ( RE had given me provera... So pretty sure this ruined everything)<BR> #3 Fresh IVF 3/12: w/ ICSI & AH (2 transfered 8BF & 7BF, 1 to freeze) = BFMFN!

    Was he was right? I wasted 4 IVF's and the doctors were not getting the catheter in?!?
