EBF and pregnant ?

I just found out that we are expecting baby #2, DS #1 is almost 10 months and has been EBF. My supply has taken a dip I guess from all the hormones and my freezer stash is really low. Just wondering if anyone has been successful in continuing to BF while pregnant. I am not against supplementing with formula if needed, just wasnt the plan

It really just depends how you react to the hormones - if your supply tanks, nothing can really help it recover when you're pregnant.

I got pregnant when ds was 9months old I was already supplementing some but I ended up supplementing more as my supply dropped. But he also started eating more real food at that age so some supplementing was with food not formula. I was able to continue to bf until ds was a year old. Just make sure you drink a ton of water and keep your calories up &you should be able to keep bfing.

My mother in law breast fed her daughted when she was pregnant up until her belly got in the way and couldn't anymore
