Vision?

Ok, am I alone?  I used to have AWESOME vision and ever since I got pregnant I feel like my vision went down the drain.  Anyone expierence this?

Also let me know where you get your glasses/eye exam from?  I know nothing when it comes to optical.

TIA

I wear contacts/ glasses, and had an exam in the fall of 2011 and my eyes stayed exactly the same. I have heard some peoples gets worse though.

I either go to walmart when i use my vision insurance (even without, its cheap, and they have a ncie selection)  or I go to America's Best. for 69 dollars you get an exam and two pairs of glasses. A steal of a price.

I wear a contact in my good eye (the right one) I have glasses but never wear them. My vision had stabilized a lot the last 3 years, but after my strabismus surgery in January it got quite a bit worse.

I see a specialist given my lengthy history (trauma to left eye at age 3 resulting in blindness) My insurance usually covers my yearly exams since I have a medical diagnosis and pays $100 towards contacts or glasses every year. The last time I got glasses it was from Lens Crafters.

My contact is gas permeable so as long as my vision doesn't change and there's no damage to the contact I can keep it for years.

I go to a local place for vision, though ATM I'm going through the ringer, since Kaiser are butts.  My optometrist thinks I might have glaucoma of all the f*ckin things, so I have to go get a test, which my optometrist could've done had I not had Kaiser health ins. but no.

So yeah, my vision kiiiind of got worse. Though I wear the same prescription.  I switched to a different type of contact too, and it feels so much better, even when I sleep in them.

I wear glasses/contacts and my prescription seems to change every year. I feel like this pg now they are worse cause my brand new glasses aren't all that great (neither are my contacts).

For contacts I go to 1800-contacts (same as Walmart). My optometrist sells glasses out of her office. I found the dr. by just looking at who my insurance covers. Although, once I'm out of Cobra I don't know if we'll continue to have vision...not sure if my DH's company offers it.
