Recurring dream location?

So, lately most of my dreams have been set in the same place: The house I grew up in. The dreams are different, however. Anybody good at dream analysis? Is it just my pregnant hormones going crazy?

I'm interested to know what you find out because most of my dreams occur at my great grandmother's house...haven't been there in years!

Dreams are a way of our subconscious "sorting things out" but sometimes doing it in an obscure way. The setting these dreams take place in sounds like your subconscious is creating a calm environment to process the thoughts.

It's what's happening in these locations that hold a greater meaning, rather than the meaning of the setting itself.

I've been into dream interpretation for a while now, but it's still nearly impossible to interpret my own dreams. Haha.

Most of mine lately have been set in my grandparents' house, but a few others have been in my childhood house and some other housing situations. I read a really long time ago that when you dream of a house, especially your childhood house, you are dreaming about different compartments of your own psyche or something like that. It totally made sense at the time. I'll try to see if I can find more about this and post it. I sure have been having a LOT of house dreams lately.
