i don't have any pregnancy brain stories yet but i have noticed i lose my train of thought very easily.

It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

I pulled up to a stop sign on my way home yesterday and waited for it to turn green. It was the end of the day though, I was tired! lol
6/28/10: Lost our sweet baby Addyston at 18wk 1day to pPROM
7/24/11: Michael William born at 24wk 2d due to IC after an emergent cerclage at 18wks, 4wk home BR and 2 weeks hospital BR. Grow strong our little Miracle!
9/17/11: Michael joined his sister in heaven after 8 amazing weeks with us on earth. He fought a very hard fight but NEC was too much for him in the end.
i had to call my dh to remember our home phone number....it's in my phone, along with his, that i used to call him. spelling is a joke these days. i think i could spell my own name wrong. i'm glad i'm not working because when i was i couldn't remember names or diagnosis of any of my patients. i felt like such a nub when drs would ask me questions.

I think I'm way too early too qualify for pregnancy brain... but between my intense exhaustion and constant hunger, I keep spilling food all over myself. Today I came home for lunch, which was 3.5 hours after breakfast. I was speeding the whole way home because I was starving, and was such a klutzy pig eating my chicken soup that I kept splashing it on myself and my computer!
Severe MFI. Me: supposedly all clear but eggs showed vacuoles.
IVF #1 January 2012, ER Jan 14th: 34R, 27M, 23F. Day 3: 18 embies still strong. Day 5: zero "good," one "fair," the rest "poor." Transferred 3. None made it to blast or to freeze. Jan 28: BFN.
Lucky IVF #2: Transferred two beautiful day three embies on St. Patrick's Day. BFP on HPT 7dp3dt. Beta 1 (14dpER)=106; Beta 2 (16dpER)=140; Beta 3 (19dpER)=264! First u/s 4.17.

Earlier on, I had several "dangerous" (if DH hadn't been home) episodes of pregnancy brain that involved me leaving burners on the stove after taking the food off. Half way through dinner and DH was like, "Um...why is the burner still on?" Oops. Twice...So oops oops!
I also remember taking some frozen fruit out to have with a meal...and as we were cleaning up AFTER eating I saw it still sitting on the counter.
Lately I've just been dropping everything, lol.
Mr. & Mrs. UMich! July 2006! :-) DX: High FSH/DOR
It took 44 cycles, just over 3 years, 6 failed IUI's in MI, and 1 round of IVF at CCRM to get our BFP!

ONe of my good friends threw me a luncheon shower last weekend at a restaurant. Someone ordered something that came with a "love muffin". I asked her what it tasted like, and she said "it kind of tastes like cake batter."
And I thought to myself, "Man, that would be a good idea...make cake flavored muffins. You could just pour cake batter in muffin tins and....oh...oh wait....someone already invented those. Tehy're called cupcakes." Luckily I managed to have this discussion all in my head and managed not to embarrass myself.
Today I got April and February confused, and I was convinced there was no such thing as April 30th. Maybe an April 29th during Leap Year, but never an April 30. I felt so dumb when I realized it.
TTC with PCOS since November 2009

I was boiling macaroni noodles and went to drain them in a colander. Only I was holding on to the colander (and not by the handle) when I poured the boiling water into it. Naturally, the water drained through the colander and on to my hand and burnt it. Mine is BAD.

I think I'm too early and can't really blame this on pregnancy brain...however, last week I used a laundry OxyClean pod in the dishwasher instead of our dishwasher detergent pods. It wasn't until after I had unloaded the dishes and eaten off of several that I noticed.
