Last week, everyone was too scared to start the unpopular opinions thread. Well my unpopular opinion is that a little healthy debate never hurt anyone! Anyone who dares read/post should remember that the nature of the thread is it's a place to voice opinions the author knows is unpopular and probably wouldn't voice otherwise. I probably speak for most when I say that certain opinions aren't meant as personal jabs at those who disagree or who do things the way the poster is saying they dislike. If you want to watch some actual drama, go to the TTC boards.
With that said, lets hear those unpopular opinions.
I'll start with something silly. I don't like jelly on my peanut butter sandwiches. I think the gooeyness negates the sticky goodness of the peanut butter, plus there's not many flavors of jelly I actually like.
Re: UOs
Lawls. I have just been at work, where Thursdays are 12 hour days so I go to bed extra early and wake up extra early. I just finally discovered that I can pump at the desktop (not laptop, where the whole process always seems to be more complicated than it should be).
As for unpopular opinion, I hate it how if you fall under categories X or Y, people try to pressure you to believe Z (and think it to be completely odd that you don't believe Z). X and Y can be your race, your sexual orientation, your gender, your station in life, etc and Z can be political affiliation/who you are going to vote for in an upcoming election, moral code, etc.
Oh, and I don't see what the big deal is about *that* word (cu nt) used to describe women and their vaginas. I don't think it is any more horrible than bit ch. In other words, if you have a problem with cu nt then you ought to have a problem with bit ch. (And lookie, I just violated my own UO above....) They are both derogatory. By American society's standards, we have an issue with cu nt but not bit ch and I really don't get it.
And along that line, which is worse to use: cu nt or ni**er. (I had an extern tell me we were working him like an unpaid ni**er, which was part of the reason I didn't hire him.)
