I was told they should triple their birth weight in the first year. Andrew was 7lb 5oz at birth so based on that he should be right around 22 lbs. We'll find out on Monday.
DD has always been very average (right in the middle) with her weight but then I took her in to get her cough checked out and she weighed in at 16.5lbs which seems to be quite a low number considering she is a few weeks shy of 1. The nurse said her weight was fine but if its supposed to triple by age 1 than she is under weight!
Aubrey is small but with a mother that is 5' and a dad who is 5'7", I guess you can't expect much
She was right under 17 lbs. at her 9 month and hasn't gained much since then. She is short so doesn't look too skinny but definitely stays in her clothes a long time. I can still put her in 6 month stuff!
I have twins, so I could not vote twice in the poll.
We had to go to dr. today for sick visits.
Daughter is a little peanut at 16.2 lbs
Son is chunky monkey at 24 lbs.
People don't even think they are twins anymore.
TTC #1 for over 5 years - too many to count IF treatments (tried everything and anything), repeat miscarriages.
Finally, Sticky Success!! B/G Twins arrived 2011.
They did a quick weight check before her surgery earlier this week, and she was 22 lbs even, but I'll get what I consider her official weight at her 1 year appointment on April 6th.
She was 21 lbs 4 oz at her 9 month appointment, so it looks like her weight gain is slowing.

This definitely won't be true for Nora. That would make her 27 lbs 6 oz (since she was 9-2 at birth) , and she's only going to be about 22.
I said around 19lbs. We just had their well check today/yesterday (4/4). Owen was 19lbs 7 oz. & 29 3/4" and Amelia was 19lbs 10 oz. & 28 3/4". They're each a little smaller than their big brother was at this age. He was 20lbs 4 oz. & 30" at a year.

My almost 11 month old is 20 lbs. She was 9 lbs. at birth
