Is it wrong that I've given up on my house?

My mother in law just called to say she is stopping by and normally I'd be freaking out and straightening up like a lunatic. Now I'm just sitting here in my messy house.

I do plan to clean this week during my spring break but fer now, my mil could just deal with the mess I guess:)

Anyone else not as concerned about their houses these days?

Me too! The furballs have been rolling around on the floor because I haven't cleaned it in so long but I just don't have the energy or effort to clean up. I'm hoping my nesting kicks in soon or the baby is going to come home to a messy house lol

I am sitting on the couch and meanwhile the supper dishes are sitting on the table, congealing. I can't just "do" the dishes b/c the dishwasher is full. The house is a mess. I feel a little guilty b/c I am not working and my DH is working hard, so I said I would take over housewifely duties. Meh. I'm creating a human life here lol!

I'm definitely slacking more... And not just house cleaning but lots of things. I have a bunch of stuff going on with school too, which also takes away some of my time, but mostly I have little desire to do anything these days :-/

I'm with ya. I will do one room at a time once a week ha ha. Laundry is the only thing that gets done on the same schedule as usual. Plus nobody visits me other than my mom and she knows how messy I can be and she doens't care (most of the time she'll clean when she comes over cus she loves me lol). Plus my body hurts too much to clean much anymore

No. Not wrong. But then, I spilled a plant an entire week ago and have yet to vacuum it up. So perhaps I am not the right person to ask.

I am definitely not concerned. I do the minimum to get us by, the bathroom has been getting cleaned only because I have thrown up twice all over it, lol! I try to do a little bit everyday and can only be on my feet for about 2 hours.
