I have not, but my MIL is really into hypnobirthing and is visiting us for Easter. Should be interesting to hear what she has to say...I'm not planning on going natural though either.

Yes! And I really liked it. For me, it completely eradicated the fear of labor and helped me feel confident and relaxed about it. Unfortunately it didn't really do anything in terms of pain management for me during labor, but I had to be induced. Not sure if it would have been different if I went into labor naturally. I plan on doing the CDs again this time.

I did, and I like it. In the end, I didn't get to use it for delivery but I used some of the tracks to keep calm in the days before delivery.

(I actually had one of the nurses put a sign on the door that said "If you can't be calm, you can't come in." LOVED HER!)

I did the hypnobirthing course with my first one- I didn't know they offered a homestudy course.

I loved hypnobirthing and had a very successful and natural birth with my first. I plan to use it again this time around (and this time I'm doing homebirth). My first midwife (in a hospital) said during labor "I love hypnobirthing moms"- apparently I was pretty put together; although I did not necessarily feel like it.

YES!! I had an awesome birth experience because of the Hypnobabies Home study course! I was pretty hesitant at first to spend $350ish on a home study course, but I am SO glad I did. I tell everyone, that little kit is priceless now. I was a first time mom, and nervous like everyone. So it really helped take away all the fear of childbirth. Not only does it help you have a comfortable birth without any drugs, it also taught me how to eat while pregnant, relax in stressful situations, and all about the labor process. It was a very wise investment. I will use it with every birth i have, and I use the relaxation cd's and techniques all the time! Go for it! you wont regret it!

Also, I did the home study course because there were no instructors/classes in my area. But if you can find a class in your area, and it works for your schedule, i would look into that as well. I hear they are great!

Yes, I did Hypnobabies Home Study and had great success! I've had two natural births now (both with doulas). I'd say both the home study training and our doula were integral to the satisfying experiences that I had. Birthing with midwives in a supportive hospital was also a big plus. I chose Home Study as opposed to a class because I felt that I would learn better at my own pace. I do kind of wish that I'd taken a class now because I think that as deep as I was able to go on my own, I probably would have been able to achieve an even deeper level of relaxation in the presence of a trained instructor. But the Home Study is a great option. I thought it was only $150 though. I don't remember paying $350.

I've used the Hypnobabies Home Study course twice and liked it so much that I became an instructor! The Home Study course is around $150, the live classes are closer to $350.
