31 week Growth Scan
Good appointment today. Baby is transverse, laying sideways, and her legs are still up by her head lol. She is an estimated 4lbs 5oz and measuring 3 days ahead. So they are saying she is in the 52nd percentile. I am glad she is doing okay. My blood pressure was good, her heart rate was 149, and my weight & blood sugars are looking okay. However, they are still on the c-section train. Looks like it might be a RCS for me. Hope all is going well.

That's a great appointment. I'm still hoping for your VBAC!! I would love for you to prove them wrong.

As a FTM, I have a question: Is it common to get a growth scan at 31wks? I didn't know when/if another u/s would be performed. It always seemed like women were told a size estimate before L&D, but I didn't know where they got the info.
Not really. I have GD and blood pressure issues. My LO has had about 8 u/s my entire pregnancy. DS was 10lbs, so they are thinking I am going to have another big baby. If so, I will have to have a c-section. They will do another scan at 36 weeks.
Ditto! Is it common to have a growth scan after 30 weeks?

To comment on the questions, I'm also having a growth scan at 31 weeks. I don't have any serious complications or anything but I am on blood pressure medicine. He said I'll probably have at least two more ultrasounds before I have the baby. Not completely sure if it's a common thing or if it's because I had some issues in my previous pregnancy (DS was born 5 weeks early and was small for his age).
